Wiper Seals, also referred to as Scraper Seals are primarily designed to protect other components in a cylinder from contamination by cleaning the rod on each cycle.
Some Wiper Seals can also include a secondary lip, often called ‘double-edged wipers’, which are specifically designed to remove more stubborn contaminants such as bonded dirt or ice or can be used to capture any oil that may have circumvented the main seal.
Swan Seals can manufacture Wiper Seals in a wide range of standard and non-standard sizes, materials, and designs.

Available in over 50 different compounds, see our material section page for all standard and non-standard options.
If the seal you require is not included in our standard range, we can meet your needs by manufacturing the part within the same timeframe.
